Monsignor Paul Baxter Memorial Foundation Scholarship
Applications due to Mrs. Wilson in room 102 by the Friday before March Break. Do NOT follow the deadlines listed in each award. This is our due date to the board.
The Monsignor Paul Baxter Memorial Foundation will award seven (7) scholarships valued at $1,750 to graduates in our school board. Msgr. Paul Baxter frequently ended his lessons and homilies with this exhortation: "Try your best, keep the faith, be kind to one another."
Criteria: * be selected/ nominated by the St Mark Awards Committee (1 nomination sent forward) * must have applied, be accepted to, and attend a full time college/ university program this fall * this is not primarily an academic award - it is to recognize perseverance, faith, and service to others
Requirement: Include a completed application cover page, resume, a reflective essay by you (maximum 500 words, typewritten and double spaced) describing how you are a worthy representative of Msgr. Paul Baxter's legacy to Catholic Students.
These are to be submitted to Mrs. Wilson in Student Services. The Awards Committee will select one candidate to be forwarded to the selction committee from the Monsignor Paul Baxter Foundation.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
