SENS Foundation is awarding $1,000 awards for graduates who plan to attend Algonquin College in the fall and have made a difference through sports and academics.
Process: St Mark Award Committee will select 1 name to be forwarded to the school board. The Board's Selection Committee will then chose the 3 winners to receive $1,000 toward Algonquin College tuition.
Application: * complete the application form below * include a 2 page summary outlining the criteria below
Criteria: 1. Student has applied to a full-time post secondary program at Algonquin College for upcoming fall. 2. Student must include a 2-page summary outlining the following: a. Strong academic achievements; b. Demonstrated participation in the community; c. Demonstrated participation in sport activities and strong teamwork skills; d. Demonstrated passion for their Algonquin College field of study. 3. The finalist's 2-page summary must be approved and signed by the school principal or school based Honours & Awards Coordinator (Mrs. Wilson) 4. Applicants must have completed all the requirements for obtaining an OSSD by June 30, 2019
Incomplete application will not be considered.
Value: $1,000 toward tuition
