University Survival Guide Event for Grade 12 African, Caribbean and Black Students added September 12
Umoja Black Community Engagement Program's “University Survival Guide” series is back again. These events are for Grade 12 students who are graduating from secondary school and making the transition into post-secondary education. The aim is for us to provide them with information about the university experience, address any worries or fears they may have, and to ensure they feel well-prepared and confident when they enter a university environment. The Survival Guide will be split into four major themes this year- picking a post-secondary program, transitions, academics, and funding- presented across four events.
